The role of a Swim Instructor at Paddle To Stroke is:
"To deliver a safe lesson and offer feedback, that would mean students are excited to come back and are improving each week."
It means that during the lesson it is your responsibility to ensure the following happens:
1. Give direction to the Assistant Swim Instructor.
2. Deliver a lesson in which the students, the assistant Instructor and yourself are safe.
3. Every time a student swims past, they should receive praise, feedback, or motivation.
4. All demonstrations are done as wet demonstrations.
5. The lesson follows the lesson plan and structure to ensure improvement.
6. Assessing students accurately.
A Swim Instructor must hold a relevant and up to date qualification and CPR certificate.
The hourly wage for this position is up to $25/hr, based on qualifications, experience, and availability.
The role of a Lifeguard at Paddle To Stroke is:
“To maintain a safe pool environment and actively supervise all swimmers, ensuring everyone feels safe and supported while participating in our programs.”
It means that during your shift, it is your responsibility to ensure the following happens:
1. Maintain active and continuous supervision of the pool and surrounding areas.
2. Ensure all swimmers, instructors, assistants, and families follow the facility’s safety rules.
3. Remain alert and positioned appropriately to respond immediately to any emergency.
4. Identify and address potential hazards before they become safety concerns.
5. Respond to emergencies using the appropriate rescue, first aid, and emergency procedures.
6. Communicate clearly and professionally with swimmers, families, staff, and facility personnel.
A Lifeguard must hold current and relevant National Lifeguard, Standard First Aid, and CPR-C certifications.
The hourly wage for this position is up to $22/hr, based on qualifications, experience, and availability.
The role of an Administrative Assistant at Paddle To Stroke is:
“To provide friendly and efficient administrative support that ensures our families, coaches, and programs receive the communication and organization they need.”
It means that during your shift, it is your responsibility to ensure the following happens:
1. Respond to emails, phone calls, and customer service requests in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Assist new and existing families with program inquiries, registration, scheduling, and account-related questions.
3. Maintain accurate client, employee, registration, and scheduling records.
4. Support coach and staff scheduling, shift coverage, and schedule changes.
5. Follow up with new customer inquiries and help guide families through the registration process.
6. Assist with recruitment tasks, including reviewing applications, communicating with candidates, and scheduling interviews.
An Administrative Assistant must have strong communication, customer service, time-management, and organizational skills. Previous administrative or customer service experience is considered an asset.
The wage for this position is up to $500/month + commission on new registrations, based on qualifications, experience, and availability.
